PV case intake for the document in front of you
PV case intake is the moment a report becomes a case: who reported it, which patient, which product, which event, and when the clock starts. AE Connect is that intake layer. The safety database still holds the official case.
What you do in the workspace
Open the workspace. Paste the narrative or upload a PDF, Word file, text, email, CSV, or image. Parsing runs in the browser. The model sees extracted text, not the original file.
The draft covers seriousness, a suggested MedDRA preferred term and system organ class, WHO-UMC causality (certain, probable, possible, unlikely, or unassessable), expectedness, whether reporting looks required, a timeline, and a short narrative. You accept or override every field. You can download the case. There is no e-signature on this site.
What stays in the safety database
Oracle Argus, ArisGlobal LifeSphere, and Veeva Vault Safety remain the system of record for the official case, the submission, and the aggregate report. AE Connect integrates with any safety database, including those three. See how the integration works.
Expectedness in the draft is a suggestion to check against the current company core data sheet or Investigator's Brochure. AE Connect does not author that document.

Questions
Is the intake form a patient portal?
No. It is the case screen a drug-safety reviewer uses for a source they already received.
Does intake integrate with the safety database?
Yes. After a reviewer accepts the draft, AE Connect integrates the case with any safety database. Oracle Argus, ArisGlobal LifeSphere, and Veeva Vault Safety remain the system of record.
What does it cost?
A company email starts a 14-day sandbox trial with unlimited cases. The sandbox covers electronic intake, form customization, AI triage, and E2B(R3) export. Annual subscriptions are Starter at $36,000, Growth at $72,000, and Scale at $120,000 per year.
