AE Connect works with ArisGlobal LifeSphere
AE Connect is not an ArisGlobal LifeSphere alternative. LifeSphere Safety remains the safety database. Teams sometimes still say Safety One for an ArisGlobal safety system. Oracle also uses Safety One in the name Safety One Argus, which is a different product. This page is about ArisGlobal.
| Job | Safety database | What AE Connect adds in front |
|---|---|---|
| Role | Safety database. ArisGlobal's LifeSphere Safety page describes a SaaS safety system for pharmacovigilance operations, including case management (MultiVigilance) and reporting. | Intake and AI case processing that integrates with LifeSphere. LifeSphere remains the system of record. |
| System of record | Typically LifeSphere Safety, when the plan names it. | No. |
| Intake products ArisGlobal sells | The same page lists Advanced Intake and other modules beside case management. Those are ArisGlobal products. This page does not repeat ArisGlobal's performance figures. | AE Connect is not Advanced Intake and not MultiVigilance. It is a separate workspace: paste or upload, browser parsing, a draft a person accepts. |
| AI extraction and triage | ArisGlobal markets AI inside LifeSphere. What your tenant does depends on what you bought and configured. | Seriousness, expectedness, WHO-UMC causality, and a reporting timeline, each with a reason, for a reviewer to accept or override. |
| MedDRA coding assist | Coding in the safety database uses the customer's MedDRA license. | A suggested preferred term and system organ class. |
| Narrative | Case processing in a safety database typically includes a medical narrative. ArisGlobal's page describes case management rather than a single screen, so the exact field names are theirs. | A short draft narrative. |
| E2B(R3) output | A safety database in this class is typically where the ICSR is finalized and, when configured, transmitted. Confirm the path in your LifeSphere configuration. | AE Connect integrates the case with the safety database. That database remains the system of record for the E2B(R3) file. |
| Aggregate reports | Periodic reporting is part of what ArisGlobal describes for LifeSphere Safety operations. | Out of scope. PSUR, PBRER, and DSUR stay in the safety database or with the partner who writes them. |

AE Connect integrates with any safety database. A reviewer accepts or overrides the draft, and the case integrates with the safety database. Oracle Argus, ArisGlobal LifeSphere, and Veeva Vault Safety remain the system of record.
